SECTION 7 BOOKS : a bookstore in Paris not like the others
December 15th, 2008 — 2:28pm

castillo/corrales presents:

SECTION 7 BOOKS
December 17- January 31

Opening reception: Wednesday 17th of December, from 6pm and until midnight. Korean Vodka will be served to customers at the desk.

First event at the bookstore: Friday 19th of December, at 8 pm: a discussion with Maria Fusco, founding editor of The Happy Hypocrite, the London journal for and about experimental art writing.

It has become a holiday tradition at castillo/corrales. Starting Wednesday 17th of December and through the end of January, Section 7 Books returns with an extended selection of books and magazines filling the entire gallery space. The bookstore will be, once again, a place where to browse and buy the most interesting art publications produced today and to gather with artists and editors during book launches, talks and conversations. Heralded as “one of the best things that has happened to Paris since… huh… a long time”, Section 7 Books, more humbly, only tries to be a good bookshop.

But what makes a good bookshop?
