Personal note

Ariana Reines is the author of The Cow (Alberta Prize, FenceBooks: 2007) and Coeur de Lion (mal-o-mar: 2007). She’s a great poet, and I find her writing strong, tuff and not so easy to accept. And somehow that’s the beauty of it. It’s transcendent, powerful, and it makes you feel alive. Thanks to a friend, I discover her work lately and it’s been a very delightful moment in my life. I wish I could see the play in NYC, unfortunately I’m stuck in Paris. So I heartily recommend anyone who can go to go. It’s supposed to be really good, check NYT great review! -dp
