MAGGIE NELSON ON SARAH LUCAS

In conjunction with the New Museum exhibition SARAH LUCAS—AU NATUREL, Maggie Nelson—author of The Argonauts—will talk about Lucas’ work, investigating the “provocations, humor, and critical shape-shifting” in her practice, and reflecting on “the stakes of the artist’s embrace of pleasure and perversion.”*
