The Autry also has an exhibition of Native North American bead work on display, Floral Journey. These intricately beaded works span centuries and miles, from the Pacific Northwest to the Mississippi. The tradition of beading is both spiritual, and artistic and decorative. The exhibition included mostly worn objects such as shoes, vests, necklaces, belt buckles, and purses, along with baskets and small vessels.
