THE INTEGRATRON

George Van Tassel built the Integratron in Landers, California, just north of Joshua Tree National Park, from 1957 to 1977. Van Tassel was an aviator, and a believer in UFOs. He claimed to have been taken up into an alien spaceship from Venus where he was given instructions to build the Integratron. The building supposedly resides above the confluence of underground rivers and is rich in geomagnetic forces. It is constructed entirely of wood in a dome shape for the purpose of  cell rejuvenation. Today the Integratron is a place you can visit and take a “Sound Bath,” which consists of a sixty minute healing session with crystal bowls and meditative music. The crystal bowls reverberate in the dome of the Integratron and you can feel the sounds vibrate inside of your body. It is an amazing and unique experience, and a must if you visit this part of the desert!
