A world-premiere edit of TWO A.M.—Loretta Fahrenholz’s new “hallucinogenic fairy tale about peer-to-peer surveillance [that explores] new ideas of postcinema through a world of shifting desires, telepathic voyeurism, and ritualistic mind control”—will screen this weekend at the Ann Arbor Film Festival.*
The director will participate in a Q & A after the film, which is based on Irmgard Keun’s 1937 novel After Midnight, the story of the rise of the Nazis from a young woman’s perspective.
