FINAL BLACK FIRE SESSION AT THE BROAD

The second of two Black Fire Sessions at The Broad brings Anthony Braxton and harpist Jacqueline Kerrod to the museum in conjunction with Soul of a Nation—Art in the Age of Black Power 1963–1983, now in its final weeks.

Kelsey Lu will warm up the audience in the first floor lobby, while upstairs in Oculus Hall, Jimetta Rose—both conducting the Voices of Creation Choir and singing with a trio—and Beans will perform.

Throughout the evening, Maurice Harris will stage “a durational intervention in the Soul of a Nation galleries.”* Please see link below for details.
