In conjunction with the New Museum exhibition SARAH LUCAS—AU NATUREL, Maggie Nelson—author of The Argonauts—will talk about Lucas’ work, investigating the “provocations, humor, and critical shape-shifting” in her practice, and reflecting on “the stakes of the artist’s embrace of pleasure and perversion.”*
